podcast. Today we're talking with Claire for the final episode of this series

with her and we're talking about her business that she runs with her husband out in Little Rock.

It's called the Urban Food Loop, which is actually a wonderful name for it, because what it is,

is a community composting business.

They take food scraps from a variety of customers that they've signed up around their area

and they aggregate all of those food scraps in conjunction with a partnership with the local zoo,

which I found absolutely fascinating, and they compost all of those food scraps for their customers

and then either distributed out back to their customers

for that monthly fee,

or the customers can choose to put it in a gleaning garden,

which means that all of that produce will end up

being donated to food banks or other organizations that really need that
