Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. Whatever time of day it is when you're listening to this. This is Randy Noberg and we're here doing another episode of Loop Holds, Hanthac Radio.

With Rocky Mountain Out Foundation combined with the Total Archery Challenge here in Park City, Utah, a ton of people here in the world out calling championship is going on. Unfortunately I got to be the MC.

Not unfortunate for me, unfortunate for anyone in the audience. I got to listen to me be the MC for a day and a half.

All kinds of companies that support conservation are here. They have their booths, they're helping raise money, donating prizes to the raffles. It's always a fun time.

Every year we try to have some stories about companies in the business, how they got started, how they do it. Over the course of that time we've had Bruce Pettit from Loop Holds who told the Loop Holds story.

We've had John Nozzler on who's told the Nozzler story. In all these stories you get to understand the focus on the customer, the focus on value, the effort to try and make the best product possible for the users and the customers that they have.

We've had Dana Gleason from Mystery Ranch. I don't know. I have Jim Wingem from CanaTrack. I know I miss some of them, but all of these, the thing they have in common is they're small businesses in the hunting space or shooting space.

They got started based on an idea, based on solving a problem. What's the solution? What's the problem, pain point that we can solve? Let's go build a company, a service product that lessens the pain.

In the process of doing that, we get to hear some really remarkable stories about all of them. This one here, Lorenzo Sartini and Chris Porter from Gohan are going to be on. I told them I don't want to focus on products. I don't want to talk about this or that or whatever from a specific feature standpoint or whatever.

What you hear, I always hear in the opening and the podcast, are their products and little features and stuff. What to me is most important about continuing to every year have a couple of companies on about how they got started, what the challenges were, what the customer response has been, is to give you the insight of how to get the customer response.

What I'm excited about is how these companies are accountable to you for no other better way to say it. With Gohan, I've known them since they started 2015, I think is when I met him.

I'm sure we'll get into the story about that first encounter and how I was pretty big skeptic because if you can think about what they were doing at that time, it was unit analysis and giving everybody all this data in one location.

I'm an accountant man, I have spreadsheets like you can't believe and in my mind, I'm thinking there's nobody going to go through the 20 years worth of spreadsheets I've been accumulating here and put it all in one place.

But anyhow, Lorenzo and Chris, the two co-founders are here with me this morning and we're just going to talk about what they are, the company, how they got started, what problem they're trying to solve.

Maybe kind of the maturation of every company, every product, how you try to be accountable to your customer base and sometimes that opens your eyes to, we got to add this product, we got to add that product, we got to do this, we got to do that.

And so I think it'll be an interesting conversation, they're two very interesting guys. Lorenzo is one of the quiet, thinking guy, you can see his wheels turning, Chris is a little bit more excitable, super sharp guy, both of them.

And they're a good match and it's fun to work with them. So anyhow, we could sit here and I could do this intro all day, but we got to make sure you know who makes this possible.
