Today, I'm speaking to Helen Revy, who is the founder of Act in Acre, an incredible

hair care line and we really get into like scalp health, hair health.

I really like talking about hair and I realize I don't have people that are experts in the

hair care space on here often, so I was super excited to talk to her and hear more about

her backstory, how she went from being a hair stylist backstage at fashion shows all over,

you know, New York, Paris, London, Milan, to starting her own brand.

She's also from Northern Ireland, so it was really cool to kind of hear about her experience

growing up there and it's just a great conversation. As I am preparing to go on summer vacation,

I am back in my protective styling. I will be doing my braids again, but it's so important to take

care of your scalp. Even if you are doing a protective style, I use their scalp serum.

It's so good and it makes my scalp feel just very clean. I just realized that hair care extends

so much beyond just taking care of, you know, the dead hair follicles and we get into that.
