The investigation is not over because there was an arrest.

This investigation is still so active and still so important that they follow every lead.

they're conducting searches in the Massapequa home on Long Island,

Massapeco Park, Long Island of Rex Ewerman.

Some of the things they are finding are unsettling.

Some of the things that they are looking for.

You may ask, what are they looking for?

And we've spoken about many things.

Anything that can connect Rex Schuerman to the victims in this case.

Anything that could potentially connect the victims to Rex U.S.

What do I mean by that?

Potentially articles of clothing, a purse, a pocketbook, a wallet, a picture identification.

These are commonly taken by serial killers of this type as what we refer to as a trophy.
