And you look back and say, I wish I would have done things differently.

Welcome back to Midweek, Modern Craftsman.

This episode this week is a little bit different than my typical episode.

So I hope that all of you enjoy it just the same,

if not more. Little business oriented, a little more heavily on the life side of things. But

lately, I've been thinking a lot about lifetime, how quickly it moves, right? My daughters are going into,

they'll be going into eighth grade and fifth grade, respectively, which is just mind-blowing to me.

And just looking at time and how quickly it's passing, right? We're already almost into May,

where the heck is this year gone? And if I'm using my

life and my platform the way that I should be, if I'm spending the appropriate time, and it got

me thinking about how others need to be doing the same. So another big aspect of this podcast and what got me thinking about this,

which there's a long backstory behind this,

but it's responsible heavily for a lot of the decisions that I make in my life

and decisions that I have made in my life.

But April 27th, it marks what I believed be 20 years since I lost

one of my childhood best friends when I was 20 years old. He was 19 years old. And he died in a car

accident, which obviously had a profound impact on my life at that point.

But it continued to have a very strong impact on my life over the past 20 years.

And it's something that I reflect on a lot.

I'm still close with his family, his brother.
