Ohio State football may be able to have fans at the spring game.

This is Doug Leverese of Cleveland.com tentatively scheduled April 17th, that middle Saturday

in April when the spring game typically is.

That's what the Buckeyes have marked on the calendar.

Haven't done anything official yet, but the big 10 is saying that they will leave fan

attendance at those games up to individual programs and individual states.

So there will not be a big 10-wide policy, which is what was the case in the fall.

That means that Ohio State should be able to go along with what Governor Mike DeWine

has said that there could be up to 30% capacity at sporting events like that.

Gene Smith told Cleveland.com that would equate to roughly 15 to 20,000 fans in Ohio

Stadium for that April 17th spring game, if everything goes as well as possible.
