surgery Podcast, where we take a behind the scenes intimate look at

surgery from leaders Behind the Knife. We're very excited for a series

that we're going to be running that's a collaboration with the Association for

Academic Surgery and we're going to be doing a series on clinical and health services research.

This came about through an idea by Fabian Johnson and throughout the series we're going to be

joined by Fabian Johnson and Stephanie Bonnie.

Fabian is the co-director of the Peritoneal Surface Malignancy Program in Johns Hopkins is also the chair of

clinical and health services research Committee for the Association for Academic

Surgery.

Stephanie is the assistant professor from the Department of Surgery at Rutgers and she's also a

member of the Clinical and Health Services Research Committee for the Association

of Academic Surgery.

So Fabian, if you could just real quick, you know, tell us how you came up with this idea for

this series and what really inspired this.
