A plan was to record a BSBOT, which we usually put behind the paywall on Patreon,

to talk about, hey, how the Rangers beat the Tep Bay Lightning, and, you know, Panarin's

ball, Vincent Trochak changed the team, score 100% your shots you take, whatever.

And then this morning we woke up to the news that Larry Brooks had passed, and we thought

it would be better to do a tribute to him and talk

about our times interacting with Larry, his coverage of the Rangers over the year, and then Vince

Burkugliano with the Athletic and also the Flying V podcast, joins us as well at the second half

of the show to talk about his time with Larry and his interactions, and we kind of pay tribute to

the legend that is honestly was New

York Ranger coverage for a very, very, very long time. So this episode, we won't be talking

about the game next Monday when we come back or Tuesday when we listen to post on the main feed.

We'll cover everything that happened throughout the weekend and obviously the Tempe Lightning

game as well, but it just didn't feel right today when a giant of the industry like Larry passes.

So we put BSBOT out on the main feed.

It's also on our Patreon as well, but we wanted to make sure that everyone could hear this

It'll be more about surprising news that we got this morning that Larry Brooks columnist, famous columnist and guests of this podcast has passed away this morning from, I believe, cancer.

I don't know if it was confirmed.
