Back in early 2017, about three years after the launch of Brewlosophy.com, I caved into the pressure

from both fans of what we were doing, as well as fellow contributors, and I started this podcast.

At the time, I never really thought it'd become what it has or that I'd enjoy doing it as well as fellow contributors. And I started this podcast. At the time, I never really

thought it'd become what it has or that I'd enjoy doing it as much as I do. Yet here we are

at episode 400. If you consider that our average episode length is about an hour and 15 minutes,

that is over 500 hours of our voices droning on in your ears over the years. Absolutely wild to me.

Anyway, it is time for another Bruin A episode. I'm your host, Marshall Shot. And today I'm joined by

contributor Alex Shanks Abel to answer a handful of questions submitted by patrons of brulosophy.

Man, 400. That seems like an important number, even though I can't really think of any cultural references to the number 400.

But, yeah, I had a ton of fun last time, particularly when we got the chance to talk about some non-home brewing related topics on a homebrew podcast.

So, yeah, let's get into it. I'll try to do

fewer Hank Hill impressions this time. That might actually be a disappointment for some of our

listeners, Alex. But, you know, there is this thing with, I don't know why we organize our,

you know, things around numbers the way that we do. But for whatever reason, even 100s, even tens,

I mean, every 10th episode we do at Bruin A, there's just something meaningful about hitting that 100

mark. And the fact we've had four of those since 2017 really does just blow my mind. I mean,

and we have no plans to stop. We're going to keep going. This is way too fun. And just judging by the feedback that we get, I do trust that at least some people out there are getting something meaningful out of this. Now, just a reminder that one of the many benefits of being a patron of brulosophy is that we do prioritize their questions for these Bruin A episodes. So if there's something you've wanted to know,
