Hi, this is William Ramsey. Welcome to William Ramsey Investigates on tonight show. I have Stoner Van Houghton, or he just goes by Stoner. But he has some firsthand experience up at a notorious place called the Spawn Ranch, where at one point the Manson family resided. So Stoner, are you there?

Yeah, I'm right here. How you doing?

Awesome. Well, I'm doing great. Thanks for agreeing to the interview.

Before we get started, maybe what you can do is talk a little bit about your background and how you became interested in this area or associated with this area.

Well, it started really, I was born and raised in Beverly Hills.

It was adopted into a family in Beverly Hills in 85.

Unfortunately, my dad's business, he's a doctor there, he burned down and it kind of set us back,

and we ended up moving to the valley.

And once we got there, I was hanging out with some kids who took me up to the hills of Chathworth.

And, of course, the hills of Chathworth.

That's where the Manson family lived near Spawn Ranch and the train tunnel.

And we would just go up there as kids and party and mess around and drink beer and watch

the train go by.

I really didn't think much of it.

And basically back then it was just that the kids just told the other kids that story

just to kind of scare them, really. That's what it was kind of like to go up there and just get scared on a Saturday night.

And that's kind of how it started.

But then through my own problems, I went through a big, heavy drug use,

and my life really was a mess for a very long time.

And it wasn't until I had done some time in prison.

I've done two time in prison. I've done two terms in prison.

I've been to Corcoran where Manson was actually at,
