Let's talk a little summer league here, and we will begin with those very same Brooklyn Nets.

Jaeger Joman will be, that's my best pronunciation of it.

It's actually changed a few times going back to his BYU days, but that I believe is what he currently has decided to, and I'm sure that's what it was all along but he just tried to make it easier on

people perhaps due to the spelling but yeah you're joan it is and you really had seen more

of him than me I didn't get a chance to watch him pre-draft in the end you said you wouldn't take

him in the first round so since you have that controversial opinion, I will let you lead off

with our analysis of his Summer League. So it was a fascinating Summer League as somebody who had

watched film of him because a lot of it was just so different than what I saw in positive and negative

ways. And so just briefly a little bit background for Juman. He's 6.8 and a quarter without shoes and

like 610 and a quarter wingspan. So he's actually built pretty similarly to Madis Buzellis.

And you're like, wow, Mattis Bezellis. But he has been overwhelmingly an on ball player,

BYU before that international, like coming out of Russia. And so that was the book. Why I didn't

love him is because he's an on-ball primary guy who didn't have a reliable jump shot, who has

this great size, but isn't a great athlete either. And so I think that what was, but what was so

surprising to me is so that's really, that had been the book

on Joe Man for me. I'm lower on these on ball guys who I don't think can generate great looks at the NBA, even though he's a very talented passer. What was so stunning to me about watching him, and some of this, a lot of this, is a product of the circumstance with the Nets drafting all these on-ball guys is that he didn't have the ball in his stance that much. I mean, average, you know, was efficient, you know, 61% true shooting on 19 usage, but just 19 usage, only 1.3 assists per game and didn't get to the line at all. And so instead, like, really, I'm watching the film. Like, I watched him in person, but also watching the film. And I was like, wait, are they just using him as an offball shooter? Because that was just so different from what I had, all the film that I had watched and I had only watched partial, but seen him do. Yeah, well, when you draft four playmakers in the first round and put them on your Summer League team and those, some of the criticism for the big team. And it's even more so on the third league team. But the fact that this guy couldn't even get pick and roll reps with the summer league team was certainly kind of weird because that was supposed to be his raise on detra. And on that 15, 15 pick and rolls in three games. That is not many for an on ball guy.

And I think he only finished six in total as a score and had nine turnovers in three games

and only four assists in three games.

That's probably the biggest thing.

Now, I would say the two things that he was supposed to not be that great at,

we saw some flushes at 10 to 23 from 3.
