Choose a horror movie each week to rate and review.

I'm Brian. I'm on the phone with Ashfin.

And today we are discussing Bring Her Back from 2025, directed by Danny and Michael Filipoo, written by Bill Hinsman and Danny Philopoo, starring Billy Barrett, Sora Wong, Sally Hawkins, and Jonah Ren Phillips.

In this film, after the death of their father, two children are forced to live with a strange foster mom and her mute son.

If you're new to the show, we're going to discuss some background info on the movie.

We'll keep it spoiler-free for the first

15 minutes or so. And then after we play some transition music, we're going into spoiler mode

where we walk through the plot in detail, reviewing it as we go, and then we'll rate the movie

0 to 5. So if you haven't seen it, you can hang out for the first 10 or 15, but after you hear that transition music, duck out and go see it in theaters.

The return to horror from the directors have talked to me.

I was pretty excited.

Talk to me was one of my favorite films of, what, like 20, 23, I think.

And, yeah, that was their first film,

and it was just such a surprise for me. So, yeah, I've been pretty anxiously waiting their return to horror. And it sounds like they did this instead of what was on their plate,

which is Street Fighter, 2023 or something. So, I don't know, a loss for the street fighter genre, but a win for horror, I think,

with these two coming back.
