I kind of call that Tuesday.

I find myself walking around and forget where the hell I am all the time.

But in today's film, it's a little scarier than that.

My agenda is simple. Each week I plan to bring

you in-depth insights into the creative process of storytelling. And folks, we have a fun one for

you today. The film is Brightwood. It is available on VOD and DVD right now. It is a total

independent film, as you are going to hear, and we have writer-director Dane Alcar with us for the Q&A.

Now, aside from the film being good, and you should definitely seek it out and check it out and

support independent cinema, this is a total DIY-styled podcast in which, as you're going to

hear, Dane made this movie for a very low price, and he did it in the typical low-budget horror style.

He had two actors.

He had one location.

It was outdoors and daylight, which is not typical horror style, but he certainly made it

kind of scary and creepy and weird, like a good twilight zone.

And Dane was very forthcoming about his creative

process and what everything costs and how difficult it is to release a film these days.
