The future is open. Well, Julian, we're back on the Jubilee tip, and I didn't expect to return so soon, but the recent episode, which is called

One Progressive versus 20 Far Ray Conservatives, and it featured journalist Mehdi Hassan, has

absolutely blown up.

It's all over my social media feeds.

Along with it, there have been loads of criticism about the platform, including a resurfaced video of the founder of Jubilee, Jason Lee, saying that he told Silicon Valley investors that the platform was going to get a ton of clicks and make a lot of money when he was trying to raise money.

This fits into the broader issue we discussed a few weeks ago when we

looked at Jubilee on the main feed, which is, is it pure clickbait or is there important

context to be mined from the conversations? What do you think? Well, it's interesting, right? Because

Medi, of course, is getting a lot of, he's doing a lot of appearances off the back of this.

And the whole thing

is we don't debate fascists. And it's interesting because he's now getting all of this additional

exposure and discussion. And it's largely because during the recording, he refused to debate

fascists. When people revealed themselves as fascist, he said, fuck you, this conversation
