we're coming to you on Sundays with a weekly roundup. This week, 53 days into a ceasefire,

Israel has killed at least 347 Palestinians in Gaza.

Israel is expanding the area under its control in Gaza.

Today is Sunday, November 30.

Israel has killed more than 70,000 Palestinians in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

Israeli troops in Gaza are expanding the area inside the so-called yellow line,

which demarcates what Israeli soldiers consider an active war zone and a no-go zone for Palestinians. But as Al Jazeera's Ibrahim al-Halili reported on Thursday,

that territory sometimes expands with no warning at all. Across eastern Gaza, the expansion of the

yellow line has cut deep into residential areas,-off families from their homes overnight.

What was once a boundary, marking where Israeli forces had withdrawn to,

has become an active military zone.

Dambayyid families, one of hundreds, forced to flee when Israeli vehicles moved in.

When they returned the next day, newly installed barriers placed their home under Israeli control.

I left Shijaya under fire. I was outside the yellow line, but the next day the army moved the blocks forward.

When I tried to return, I suddenly found myself inside the line. I was displaced

to a place that isn't mine. As the yellow line continues to shift, so do the lives of those

living near it, forced from one place to another, with no clear path back home.

As the ceasefire in Gaza continues, families are relocating the bodies of relatives hastily buried amidst the bombardment. Al Jazeera's Tarek Abu Azum filed this report on Tuesday.

Since the ceasefire began, Gaza's civil defence has been overwhelmed with calls.
