So tell me this. Tell everybody your story quickly because you're a school board. What do you now

president? Like how did you get into this game? Because you're in Florida. Ron DeSantis himself,

I believe, endorsed you for school board, which is pretty cool. And this has become a big movement

among conservatives. We're broadly that there are parents who are just like I'm taking action here.

What happened with you? Yeah. So mine kind of goes back a little bit farther back.

At 2014, I've three girls now ages four, seven and 10. My oldest was only eight months old. My

husband's pretty active in politics. And I did a lot of nonprofit work that worked in corporate

insurance. And there was a vacant scene. I remember he was like, you should run for school board.

And I thought he was insane. But you know, when you're raising a family and you realize that education

plays such a pivotal role in their trajectory. And you looked at the school board. There was no

in there with young kids. So I stepped off the ledge. There was a vacancy. So I did apply for the

appointment governor, then Senator Rick Scott, but former governor did appoint me. And then that

elevated the polarization. But I, you know, I came out and just said I was an obvious. I didn't

work in education. I was a mom. I was a business person and believed in things like school choice

and accountability and wanting high quality education for every person no matter what your

zip code was. That's a four letter word in the world of education and particularly for unions.
