His name is Jake Beckett.

Jake is a pretty amazing guy.

He's a former Division I college football player for the Arkansas Razorbacks. He's drafted by the New England Patriots.

He played for the team. He won a Super Bowl with a Super Bowl with him.

A Super Bowl ring to prove it.

After he left the Patriots, retired from the NFL,

Jake decided to enlist in the military and started completely over as a private.

He then went to officer candidate school and then he went to ranger school and then he became a platoon leader in the 101st Airborne where he led

an infantry rifle platoon in combat in Iraq.

He served his country.

Put his life on the line for his fellow soldiers in

this amazing country that we live in. We talked about everything. We talked about

hard work and perseverance and making a Division 1 college football team

and then defying all the odds being drafted to the New England Patriots, what that call was like, how his family reacted.

We talked about the Patriot way and what made the New England Patriots an exceptional

exceptional team. And then the humility that it took to leave the

NFL at the top of his game on the best team in the NFL to be a nothing burger private in the military making like
