Hello, listener. Thank you for returning. This time to listen to my conversation with Bridget Christy.

Now, I'd only met Bridget once before when she came on What I Lie to, and I was very impressed by her.

I thought she came under that heading of being singular, which I love.

You know, when somebody just has their own thing going on, their own energy, she was great.

You would know her for her stand-up.

I mean, she's appeared in all sorts of things as a stand-up, not much at all as an actor

until she wrote her own thing, The Change, which was a big success, all about a menopausal

woman trying to find her own identity as she hits 50. The change is coming back to Channel 4

for a second series in the spring of this year, 2025.

She came in to talk about it and we got on very well and we had a lovely talk and in fact

the time flew by.

So please loosen any constrictive clothing.

It's before we even start recording that the really best stuff comes out. We've covered energy drinks, caffeine,

the weight of a jacket, the capacity of its pockets. Dry throats and wet throats.

That was the, that's what we opened with. We did open with that because you had some

coconut for the watches and listeners and I love coconut. I've loved coconut since I was little.

It's a lovely taste. All different forms, shredded, desiccated, squared. I offered, Bridget, would you

call it squared? Squared. Lovely, which I just got because I popped into waitrose on my way here.

Not a deal with waitrose yet.

So I bought myself a lunch and part of it was the coconut.

So of course I offered some to Bridget and she came up with this dubious claim.
