In a world of micro targeting where you could get down to very narrow slices of the electorate,

there's much less accountability and publicity built into the process by its very nature.

And I think that when pressed, this is the big concern.

The idea that very small slices of the public would see very instantiary or false information

that was geared specifically to them in ways that would never make it to a broader public

light of day by virtue of the medium itself.
