We have a ton to get to all the takeaways from the college football games played yesterday.

If you have still a functioning mind coming off along New Year's Eve in the New Year's Day,

there was a game on New Year's Eve, and it was closer then. The final score would

suggest, yeah, you look at the tally by which Penn State beats Boise State. You're going to think

another route. Boise State actually outgained the Italy Lions, and they won the time of possession

battle as well. So that game was watchable, although no one, I'm guessing,

will have watched it, comparatively speaking, a small rating because we know on the list of things

undefeated here in the jungle, New Year's Eve is as well, because you have to get your drink on.

Yesterday, though, you had the game of the year, the wild comeback put together by Arizona State.

Although, when we get into our takeaways, I think Texas largely responsible for allowing the Sun Devils back into that game,

because for the second straight playoff game, where did the Texas defense rank number one in the nation over the course of the

regular season go late in the game? They allowed Clemson to have a glimmer of hope in the

opening round matchup on campus in Austin and then the game for the ages yesterday. And then

the beat down here in Southern California, Ohio State looking like the best team money can buy with their

$20 million NIL payroll. Oregon fans explain to me what happened. Is this old school duck

football going back to the BCS and not showing up in a high leverage situation? And I am a West Coast
