I said a few years ago when Brian Kelly was hired at LSU that he was going to be the stepdad that you never knew you needed.

That he would come in.

He'd make you actually clean your room.

Stop hanging out with people that aren't helping you.

And don't talk to your mother that way and you wouldn't appreciate him

until you graduated law school first in your class and took a big-time job right

away that was financially lucrative and heading into 2024 he needs to be that more than ever.

Now I'm sure you've heard his comments about NIL and not wanting players that want to go to LSU solely for the money.

Matt Moskona, but the fact of the matter is, LSU shouldn't have to be winning

bidding wars to get defensive linemen. For the last couple of years they have not been

themselves as a team or as an identity. In my opinion LSU is not USC and

Lincoln Riley. They are not just a high-flying offensive team that hopes to God to be able to stop

you every once in a while. Deep down, LSU really is a defensive powerhouse who relishes

on knocking the offense's teeth through the back of their throat,

a team that strikes the fear of God in their opponent when the tape comes on and when they get off the bus.

Now when LSU was truly cooking, they are balanced but pissed off.
