a lot of claims. One person who has investigated these claims is Brian Dunning. He's an expert on

critical thinking, on science, and specifically

on skepticism. His podcast, Skeptoid, debunks conspiracy theories, and he has a new movie called

the UFO movie They Don't Want You to See. Here, he tries to get to the bottom of what's really

going on with UFOs.

has your impression of whether or not it's likelier or less likely that UFOs are caused by alien civilizations changed at all?

No, there hasn't really been any change to the science on this.

There's been a lot of UFOologists telling old UFO stories, but there's not been nothing new.

What about the new stories of, you know, military people having seen things that we hadn't

heard about before? Like, why is there this escalation in interest slash anecdote?

Well, the stories that we're hearing, if we're speaking about like what David Grush brought up in front of Congress, he talked about Roswell and an old debunked Italian story from 1933.

Those are not new stories.

So I repeat, there just has not been anything new.
