Today big changes on the horizon for food import. I'm in Dover where they're on the brink of

introducing physical checks for certain foods and plants coming in from the EU for the first time

in more than 30 years.

Before Brexit we had total free movement.

So physically does that just mean so trucks

essentially just waved on through?

Absolutely, there was no checks at all.

Except for, there's various security agencies involved with intelligence checks,

contraband smuggling,

people smuggling obviously.
