| 0:00.0 | Well, hi, everyone, and welcome back to the next in our BrettCon panel series. We're back. |
| 0:14.7 | Yeah, and today we are happy to share the long-awaited Hound of the Baskervilles panel, which included Chris DeBoree, James Faulkner, and Alistair Duncan. I feel like this panel kind of speaks for itself, so we don't really need to turn in a big intro on this one, except to say, I think, of all the panels, I was probably the most nervous about this one. Nervous because of them or because of the heat we have for this episode? |
| 0:39.1 | Well, I mean, to be honest, it was mainly just because we had just talked to these guys |
| 0:43.5 | for the Hound three-part episode that we did. |
| 0:46.4 | And I was just worried that neither they nor we would really have anything else to add. |
| 0:51.2 | And in fact, actually, Chris Tabori at one point says something like, |
| 1:28.3 | I already poured my heart out to you guys, you know, which he definitely did on the show. I mean, they all did. But I mean, in the end, I think it didn't even matter because they were just so great on stage together. Yeah. Well, there's a magic of having the three of them together, you know. And I feel like to some extent, it's kind of like what can we say that hasn't already been said about this panel. But you do have to remember the fact that only the people in the room and our patrons at this point have actually heard this panel. So for everybody else, they've only heard the stories, you know, second or third hand. So it should be interesting for people to finally hear. Yeah. But I think what happened in the moment is that it just became about that moment. And I don't know if it'll translate on the audio or |
| 1:33.6 | the video recording just how kind of magical that panel was for us and for the audience. But yeah, |
| 1:39.4 | I mean, it was, it was something really special on the day. I hope it comes across. I think it would |
| 1:43.4 | come across. And I think the video especially, because you can kind of just see the three of them are just |
| 1:48.7 | beaming at each other when they were talking. And I feel quite proud that we were able to bring these |
| 1:54.3 | three guys together. Yeah. It's a shame we couldn't get Fiona Gillies to round it out, but this was a |
| 1:59.4 | special one. This one turned out really good. |
| 2:02.1 | And I was thinking about actually one of the prop replicas that I made for our version of Baker Street, |
| 2:08.4 | the sitting room, was the note from Hound, the, if you value your life or your reason, |
| 2:13.4 | keep away from the mark. |
| 2:14.2 | And I made that just before we left. |
| 2:15.4 | And I was lucky enough to get them all three to sign it for me. And I don't really ask for many autographs typically, but I thought |
| 2:22.0 | this was a rare one to snag and kind of a meaningful keepsake from, you know, our event. So it's |
| 2:28.8 | definitely in a point of pride on my, on my wall. That's great. Yeah, I mean, until I listened back to it, I had actually kind of forgotten that, well, I forgot a lot of things, but one thing I really can't believe I said on stage was I threw out there that we should make a movie with the three of them. Oh, yeah. But it's funny, the more I think about that, the more I think that, that could be something really cool. I mean, I think it would only be cool, though, if we do it in the kind of Cassavetti-style road movie way, where they basically get to improv and, like, play off each other the whole time, which, I don't know, that's a big ask for actors, but I really do think that if we could get those three guys together, it would be magical because they have such chemistry. |
| 3:09.2 | I don't know. |
| 3:10.1 | Maybe someday, if we can ever get our current film done, we can think about that. But I do think it would be fun. Yeah, it would definitely be fun for us. It would be such a luxury to be able to work with these guys. So, I mean, hopefully we can aim towards that. And by the way, I wanted to say, I've started to love how many of our listeners still find |
