Interesting podcast this week. My guest Brett Farves, who's gotten to be a good friend of mine. We share an obsession with endurance sports.

I never really thought I would say that, well I never thought I'd say that Brett Farb's gotten to be a good friend of mine,

but I also never thought I would say that he was somebody that has become obsessed with an

endurance sport, whether it's riding his bike or running or

triathlons but he has so this week's conversation focuses a lot on that as well as his playing career as well as quite a few other things including his

wife's cancer diagnosis. Deanna herself also an Iron Man triathlete,

endurance junkie, amazing lady.

But this one's a little bit interesting because we were we were this this

podcast was recorded outside of Auburn, Alabama when I was there for Bo Jackson's

ride called Bo Bics Bama.

Bo Jackson, an alumni of the Forward Podcast.

But Brett always stays at Coach Pat Dies farm outside of Auburn and of course

Coach Di won a national championship or two at Auburn he recruited and coach

Bo Jackson at Auburn early He recruited and coached Bo Jackson at Auburn. Early in his career he actually coached under the late

great Bear Bryant. But about 20 minutes into the podcast with Brett and walks Coach Die.

And I'm thinking, well, he'd be a really interesting guy to have on the podcast at some

point.

Well, lo and behold, Coach just pulls up a chair and makes himself at home.

Of course, we're sitting in his living room.

Not much I could say.

Certainly not much.
