Welcome to Squire Radio on Bo. And I'm John David. J.D. Hey, Bo. Good evening, dude. Man, good evening to you, sir. How are you doing tonight? You know, I'm good. I decked the halls today. Don't you like our Christmas lights? Yeah, yeah. The live show, I think, I try it as hard as I could to figure out a good angle, and unfortunately, they can't see it. It's just not our mobile Squire.

Squire, Squire studio is not super conducive to, to show and off the lights. But we've got some lights, some nice pointettas and, uh, man, we're, look at that. I didn't even notice the point set. Yeah, we're ready for, uh, ready for the season, It is beautiful about Poinsettas, that they only kind of bloom around this time of year.

And just what a great thing. That is true, right? You know, actually, I'm not sure. I don't know if it's just kind of a forced thing, you know, if we just kind of hold them back until Christmas time because they're so beautiful. Yeah, I don't know. but yeah yeah I mean it mean, we got the halls decked and it's nice.

I will say, I thought probably some of the worst things I've thought in a while today as I was trying to unravel strings of Christmas light.

It was pretty bad. How, like, are these all from years past or did you have to replenish? That's right. No, these lights have been here for every single. Every single? Probably decades. And for the most part, they're doing pretty good. It's amazing. They're okay. Yeah, there's a couple I had to rig up a little bit. we, you know, a couple of the strings, it was one of those deals where, you know,

had to move some a little bit. We, you know, a couple of the strings, it was one of those deals where, you know, had to move some light balls around in order for the whole string to light. Right. You know, on one, it's multicolored and only the green lights work. But at least it's green lights and not like blue lights. That's true. You know, orange lights or anything like that. So, um, but,

but, uh, but yeah, man, it's, it's, it's good. We're, we're ready to go. I'm telling you, man. It's definitely the holiday season. Christmas is right around the corner. I don't know about you, man, but I'm, I'm stoked. I'm excited. Uh, not just because of all the, the, the wonderful holiday festivities that I'll be enjoying with my family, but also because of the holiday festivities, I'm looking

forward to in the pipe family. That's right. Now, we've, of course, we've got a big Christmas party coming up. Yep, at the country squire. That's right. On, that's December 15th, actually. It's a Thursday night and should be good. We're going to have a bunch of food and, you know, strong drink and all that kind of stuff.

Generally, it's just another excuse to get together and smoke pipes into the wee hours of the night.

So, anyway, we're excited about that.

It's so much fun. I remember it from last year. I remember drinking a little bit too much and walking away with purchases that I still haven't actually used.

It's a great business ploy. I'm okay with that. Yeah. All that sounds great. Yeah. Actually, I do. There was one in particular thing, item that I purchased during last year's Christmas party that I'm very specifically got as a Christmas gift to give away this year. Oh, really? At the Christmas party. So I'm very much looking forward to that. Oh, so you bought something at the Christmas party to give away this year at the Christmas party. Exactly. Really? There was a lot of strong drink last year. And you know what? Wow. I made the decision back then and I held to it. So, no, that's great. That's great. That's committing to a drunken city. You know, looking forward to something like that.

I don't know, maybe you did that, you know, trying to file your accountant's advice, spend all that money before the end of the year. I don't know. I can't make that rationale work any other way. So, but that's great. Hey, man, you got to do what you got to do. Yeah, look, we've got a lot of great, great things going on.

I think we can mention this.

Now, it's a little wibbly wobbly here because on the live show, it's a little bit too early to mention this, but by the time this podcast episode goes out, it will be, I think, appropriate and okay. That's right. I think it's okay now, actually. But, but yeah, let's just roll it out. All right, we're just going to put it out there.
