Hi, welcome to the badass breastfeeding podcast.

This is Diane Your Lactation Consultant and Mother of three.

And by the way, it's Mother's Day.

We are recording on Mother's Day.

I know you guys are going to get this later than Mother's Day, but happy Mother's Day anyway.

And I have three kiddos, Nathan, who's 25, and my twins are 23, Jessica and

Brandon. And they are adults, obviously, but you never stop mothering them. So that's where I am.

And I'm a maternal child health specialist, by the way. I actually,

that's actually a thing. I'm a maternal child health specialist. It is. It's a thing. Yeah,

and a lactation consultant. So, yeah, that's me. Abbey. Come on. And I'm Abby, the badass breastfeater.

And I am the mom of Jack, who's 14 and Exley, who is 11.

He's on his last days of 11, or last month, I guess.

And I have a social work background.

And, well, for the sake of today's episode, I guess,

I had a lot of problems breastfeeding X-Ly because I forgot, even though I was still breastfeeding Jack.

I was still breastfeeding him. So I thought I knew, like, what to do. But actually, maybe that made it worse.

Because then I was breastfeeding a toddler and I was like, oh, it'll be just like this.

Yeah. That made it worse. Yeah. But Jack was six and a half when he finally weaned and actually was five.

So that's sort of my unique story.
