You would have everyone believe that the way the media is reporting on this.

Is this really the smoking gun?

I really pray and hope and pray that it is.

I hope it leads right back to the kidnappers as it takes anywhere from two

to three, four days to return the evidence on it, whether it's DNA, hair fibers, or it's connected

in some way to the vegetation near the house, which someone else suggested. But it certainly is not,

I sort of made that thumbnail tongue and cheek, it certainly is not

the smoking gun.

But the media would have you believe that it's the smoking gun.

So the major development and the kidnapping of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, and it's important

for the first time, I don't know if it's the first time

that investigators have physical evidence directly connected to the suspect. We don't know that.

A black glove possibly worn by the masked individual captured on the ring camera has now been

recovered. And that changes the trajectory of the case if it in fact does belong

to that person caught on the ring camera. Because up until now, this was largely a video-driven

investigation and a digital investigation. Now there is some forensics. So a quick reminder, folks, if you're
