Hello, my friends. Welcome to the Astrosal. I'm Kory Allen, you or you, and once again, it's

0:10.1

a real pleasure to be here in this moment of time with you. A type of behavior that we

0:18.1

all share is this desire to be able to make changes and to improve in alter either the

0:29.9

course of our lives or the contents of our lives and the tension that somehow keeps us from

0:40.8

actually making those changes and following through on those things. That tension is really

0:51.1

interesting to me. Not only just in itself and by itself for what it is, but also the fact that

1:01.7

it's something that everyone experiences. We have these states of mind where we analyze what's

1:15.6

happening in our lives, what our behavior patterns are, and we create this sense, this story about

1:25.8

where that will have us headed in the future and how that's affecting the way that we feel on

1:32.3

the present. In most cases, we can quite easily examine where we are on the present and how we're

1:39.0

feeling and what changes could we make to improve the way that we're feeling right in this

1:44.9

very moment. Also, we can easily think about our future and in the present, we think about our

1:54.8

future and very easily we can come up with a handful if not a list of things that we would like to

2:04.4

change whether it's about what we're doing in life or how we're doing certain things in life

2:11.2

that would result in us being happier in the future. What's interesting is that so few of us

2:21.7

actually make those things happen and it's this tension in resistance that isn't all of us

2:34.2

that creates the barrier to bring those things that we know would make our lives better.

2:41.1

Interferation. It's mind-blowing to step aside for a moment and think about three things that you

2:55.1

know right now. What is all to you? Feeling better? Feeling happier and getting closer to whatever your

3:06.3

goals may be. Those things are so apparent and they come right up. We all know them but why don't we do

3:19.6

them? It's really fascinating to think about and consider that. This barrier has a few different parts

3:33.0

to it. One of those is that there is a level of what we'll call courage that it takes to make those
