I'm your host, retired NYPD sergeant, Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

This case that we've been covering Savannah Soto and Matthew Gira and the unborn child.

Luckily, there is more and more evidence coming forth, just a press conference earlier today.

And no one had mentioned yet. I think it just really came out

today, based on this press conference, that based on the search warrant that was conducted on the

home of Ramon Prasciado and his son Christopher, they recovered a firearm.

They didn't say what type of firearm.

The only indication was that the firearm,

they believed the firearm recovered in the search warrant,

was the gun that was used in the homicides.

So we're going to get deeper into that later, but powerful, powerful, powerful, powerful evidence. Some of the other things that we've learned,

and we just, last night when we went on the air, we took a look into the arrest affidavit, but more

near the end of the arrest, it's a six-page document. And the earlier on document tells about

the knowledge that the family had, that Matthew Gitter was selling narcotics,

and in fact, using his phone and social media almost like a delivery service.

To me, that was a huge eye-opener.

And that doesn't make the family's pain of losing their son any less or the family of savannah

Soto and the unborn child that doesn't make their pain any less but it's an eye-opener to me

that this was known and to the family's credit, they shared this information with the police.

And this information, no doubt, helped in the investigation of this case. Because if you don't

tell the truth to the police when a family member has been murdered.
