I am Oren McIntyre.

We're going to be getting into the recent interview that Tucker Carlson did with Mike

Huckabee.

It has been making the rounds everywhere.

It's been blowing up.

It's been going viral.

It's interesting for several reasons.

The core, which I think is questions not so much necessarily about the American-Israeli

relationship, though that will certainly be part of what we discussed today, but also

questions of national identity.

I think that Tucker Carlson and Mike Hockaby got into some very interesting exchanges

over kind of where Mike Huckabee and perhaps many mainstream

conservatives might be when it comes to questions of identity and those that perhaps the new

right or guys like Tucker Carlson are kicking around thinking about.

It becomes particularly interesting.

Again, not so much in the context of the Israeli war

with Gaza and everything else that's going on there, the Palestinians. But again, kind of the

wider understanding of what our politicians are thinking about when they're thinking about

what is a nation, who are a people, who has a right to exist, where do we define ourselves?

These are all kind of critical aspects that are not just discussions happening in, again, Israel and Palestine, but discussions
