Picked up a sporting injury

It's not even a sporting injury mate Isn. Isn't it? I was giving you a benefit of a doubt. Yeah, so it's cold in the UK at the moment. And in the US I hear as well, dangerously cold. But it's all right. But it's okay because it's disproved global warming's happening with your dog. So I've been trying to get my steps in lately. I've been walking to work, walking home or doing a run. And with the icy weather, I thought, oh, that looks a bit dangerous. I won't walk the whole way today. I'll get, like, bus halfway, and then I'll walk the rest. Right. And I got all the way up until a car park I have to walk through to get to my work. And then as I'm crossing the road, one car's going over, and then I wait, and then I cross, and then another one starts coming up. And I realize I'm standing in the middle of a giant sheet of black ice. Oh, sugar. Yeah. There's only one thing you can do in the middle of a road when there's all black ice everywhere. Keep on going. Keep on going. Because it's going to be a pain in the butt to try and turn around. As I'm very carefully crossing the road, the car beeped at me. And I went ass over teat. And in a fashion that I really wish I could have seen myself fall, because it felt like it was hilarious. I'd landed on one side and one of my leg.

I could feel my heel kick myself in my lower back. Wow, did you kick yourself in the nuts at the same time as well? I didn't. I thought, that's not meant to go there. Disappointing. And I've got its big slouchy beanie on, so that's gone over my face. So now I'm blindfolded. I've lobbed my phone. and I'm pulling the hat away from my eyes.

Well, can I just say, Colin, you are a hot mess. Yeah, I am. And I can see my phone sliding down the road and I'm like, no, managed to grab my phone. And then I try to get up and my leg gives way because I've really badly hurt my ankle and my knee. And then as I crawl to the side of the pavement,

the woman gets out of her car and walks up to me and says, you should be really careful. It's icy out.

I hate nothing more than rhetorical advice. It's one of the things that drives me up the wall is
