0:42.7	Heading into the election, there was a tacit recognition among many crypto folks that a Trump
0:46.8	presidency was likely to be very good for the industry and its place in the U.S.
0:51.7	For some, that was enough to get completely on board, but there were, of course,
0:54.9	many crypto industry participants who still had lingering doubts about the rest of the policies
0:58.7	that would come with the first crypto president. To some extent, everyone knew what we were
1:03.0	getting ourselves in for, at least in the sense that we knew that we weren't going to have someone
1:06.8	who played by the normal set of rules. The first Trump administration was marked by a willingness to cast aside political norms in pursuit of the broader agenda, and that impulse
1:14.9	has certainly continued into the second term. On the economic front, we've had on-again,
1:19.0	off-again tariffs, alongside continual jabs at the Federal Reserve that have made macro shocks
1:23.7	a fairly regular occurrence. Frankly, to a certain extent, market participants just adjusted
1:28.2	and came to expected Trump headline bomb at any hour of the day. This week, though, there has
1:32.8	been something of a shift. Trump is starting to double down on certain questionable policies,
1:37.3	and market commentators are beginning to get even more uneasy. The first big shift was Trump's
1:42.3	war against the Federal Reserve ratcheting up. Until now, the
1:45.0	feud has been a little alarming, but mostly amusing. Basically, Trump calling Powell an idiot and squawking
