0:15.8	And I want to jump into Exodus chapter 3. And we're going to read a portion of scripture here that probably a lot of you are familiar with. If you grew up in church like me, you're accustomed to like the Sunday
0:25.9	school thing, this is a story that gets thrown around a lot. Or maybe you're not super familiar with
0:32.0	the scripture just yet. It's okay. You'll hear it today for the first time and then you'll probably
0:35.9	hear it a dozen other times throughout your life.
0:38.0	We're going to jump into the story of the burning bush. And this is Exodus chapter three, verse one. It says,
0:44.3	One day, Moses was tending the flock of his father-in-law, Jethro. It's his first mistake working for his father-in-law.
0:51.8	He was the priest of Midian, and he led the flock far into the
0:55.4	wilderness and came to Sinai, the mountain of God. And there, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a
1:01.4	blazing fire from the middle of the bush. And Moses stared in amazement. Though the bush was engulfed
1:08.8	in flames, it didn't burn up up this is amazing moses said to himself
1:14.1	why isn't the bush burning up i must go and see it when the lord saw moses coming closer
1:23.6	he called from the middle of the bush and m, Moses, here I am. Moses replied.
1:30.0	Don't come any closer. The Lord warned. Take off your sandals for your standing on holy ground.
1:37.1	I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
1:43.5	We pray with me. Holy Spirit, we invite you into this time
1:47.7	and in this moment, we pray, Lord, that you would open up our hearts to receive from your word today.
1:52.1	And we thank you, God, that wherever we find ourselves in this moment that you are here, that you know,
1:58.0	that you're with us, and God, that you want to reveal yourself to our hearts
2:03.8	in a new way today. So I ask Lord that you would help us to receive it and get that you would be with us
