I have never seen anybody get so angry at a chocolate chip commercial.

Yeah, well, I mean I'm not angry, I don't think that I see and feel things the way that marketing professionals think I should see and feel things.

So I'm reading something and you're watching something in a commercial for like a chocolate chip cookie recipe comes up and you just start yelling at the TV.

Well, it's okay, so it was the whole thing was you're spending quality time with your kid and you want to make chocolate cookies or something and you want the best chocolate chip cookies.

And so she's standing there and she's looking down lovingly at her child and her child's, you know, got chocolate on his face and he's stirring in the bowl and is, and she's just dumping half hazardly chocolate chips into this bowl as though there's no recipe.

She's just like, however many go in there go in there and what a terrible life lesson that is for a child.

Wow, okay, it's really the fact that you are so precise in things that the fact that she's just all nimbly, bimbly throwing chocolate chips into the recipe.

That's the thing that bothers you.

It's the thing is, okay, so you know how like when I cook something with eggs, I crack the egg into a separate bowl and then I dump the egg into the bowl that I'm mixing in.

There's a reason for that. If something goes wrong, you've ruined only that one bowl of egg.

I see. It's like an isolation container.

Yes, and if she's just dumping really nilly these chocolate chips into this bowl, what if they like what they all fall into the bowl?

You can't make cookies that way. That's going to be ridiculous. It's just going to melt and be puddles of cookie. It's not going to be cookie at all. It's just going to be puddle.

And then she's just going to have to like what scoop out chocolate chips and then you're going to put them back in the bag. No, you're not going to put them back in the bag. It's going to be covered in dough.

And the dough's got egg on it and you're just going to what's just toss away half a bag of chocolate chips because you couldn't be responsible enough to use a goddamn measuring cup.

I sense a sternly worded letter on the way to Nabisco. I mean, I've already moved on.

I'm just saying. You're the one who brought it up. Yeah, that's true. I did. I should have known better.

How about this? I'll bring up the fact that you owe me a story. Oh, wow. That was a segway and a half.
