So as we begin, find a quiet place where you won't be interrupted and take a deep breath as we enter into God's presence together.

Today's reading comes from Isaiah chapter 9.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and he will be called Prince of Peace.

Of the greatness of his government and peace, there will be no end.

Let's begin by reciting God's goodness, praising Him for who He is and for what He has done

in our lives.

Now Lord Jesus, we praise you for being the Prince of Peace in a world where trust runs low and fear runs high. God, we are so

thankful that you are the prince of peace. Jesus, you are the one who restored peace wherever you

went. You spoke peace over the stormy waves. You raised the dead to life. You restored

healing and fullness to people's bodies. You cast out demons into the depth so that people might be

free. You are the Prince of Peace.

We're so grateful that even though we live in this world

on this earth, our citizenship is in heaven.
