conversation started. So Dr. Kim, let's start today by talking about boundaries with family, specifically our families

of origin and our in-laws. What are some boundaries needed in those family relationships?

Yeah, I think every couple at some point is going to experience something with family and

I feel like, okay, maybe we need boundaries here, like it might be unrealistic expectations.

Maybe the family needs to see your marriage as a separate entity.

And so I think all those things go into it.

So I think the way you might look at it is this, is there something that's going on that really is causing a problem for your marriage?

And that could be extended family, something like that,

maybe expectations that one of the family origin has that you guys are there for

every Sunday dinner.

And there's no, you have to be there every Sunday.

And you're saying that maybe we want to have a Sunday where just us or maybe we want to do this

just maybe once a month or something like that. And so that's, sometimes those are hard
