Well, this is going to be an interesting week, isn't it?

The war of words between Boris Johnson and his former Chief A Dominic Cummings is spilled out of the house into the street and is now beginning to empoison the entire neighbourhood.

And indeed the landscape, there are several questions which we will ask over the course of the morning.

But one thing is absolutely clear. The shambolic rouse at the heart of government and the constant carping and leaking cannot be good for the way

this country is run. And in any case for revenge should be placed firmly to the side of the

argument about what is the best thing to do. One thing is certain, however, I warned nearly

two years ago that moving his then girlfriend into number 10 before the link ink on his divorce was even dry was a bad idea for a man played with stories about his private life and someone in need of steering Britain through the troubled waters of Brexit.

How true my prediction has turned out to be.

As usual, how unsurprising.

I told you it would all go horribly wrong.

But unfortunately, neither

did Boris listen to me and neither did the rest of the people out there because it now would

appear that he only listens to one voice. We'll be asking the man on Sunday's Dan Hodges,

why Carrie Simmons seems to think she's got the right to interfere in the way her husband does

his job. As he wrote in a paper at the weekend, we do not elect

people with their wife. We do not elect people with their fiancé. We do not elect people

with their husband. We elected Theresa May. We elected Margaret Thatcher. We elected David Cameron.

We even elected Tony Blair. But none of those people had their partners running the country, which apparently

seems to be what is the case now.
