Before we talked to our guest,

Corey Booker's campaign manager, a few thoughts

since we've last been together.

So one, we had the big Iowa dinner,

the Liberty and Justice dinner that we talked about on last week's episode.

Happened on Friday night. I actually watched all the speeches with my wife on C-SPAN. It was by far the most time I ever spent

was C-SPAN on my TV in my life. And you know I thought a few things.

One I didn't think anybody had the kind of breakout moment that Barack Obama had in 2007 that would

completely shift the race. You know I thought thought for the most part, you know, the candidates were all strong.

You know, judging on some of the news coverage and the people I've talked to who were there, I do

think Mayor Pete organizationally had the strongest night.

He had the biggest crowd with the most energy.

Some estimates are about a third of the audience.

So that's thousands of people that they got to the event in Des Moines on a rainy Friday.

So we'll see if he can leverage that.

You know, coming out of Iowa, there are some new polls this week.

One actually had Biden all the way dropping to fourth,

although close with Warren and Mayor Pete, one, two, and Sanders there.
