| 1:09.5 | For example, many times in my life I've tried to look at the circumstances going on and figure out what God is doing and in so doing |
| 1:21.0 | encourage myself in the midst of this situation because of what he's doing. |
| 1:28.5 | And then what it winds up happening is it turns out what I thought he was doing is not what he was doing, at least not in the way I |
| 1:35.4 | thought and in the way I interpreted, and so it becomes a discouragement rather than an encouragement. |
| 1:40.0 | And so as a result, when that happens enough times, I become jaded and I start being hesitant to take any kind of encouragement from circumstances that are happening around me, because I don't want to presume anything. I don't want to presume |
| 1:54.8 | upon God I don't want to presume to know his plan you know all of that and it all |
| 1:58.6 | sounds good and it sounds like humility but when being jaded is the result, I don't think it's of faith. |

| 2:25.4 | bow down to the golden idol and their response was we know that our god can save us from the fire, but even if he doesn't, we still will not |
