how you made that jump from your architecture background into consulting and marketing.

I'm Hope Chori.

And I used to be an architect.

And I was very single-minded.

Like I wanted to be an architect since I was a very small child.

And went to architecture school, started working for a firm,

was on my path, great recession happens, and everything kind of shifts dramatically.

So I was laid off. It was tough. At the time, I was in Michigan. I was in Detroit, and I'm not sure if many people are aware,

but Detroit felt the recession first before the rest of the country. So we were kind of like

the canary and the gold line. And my firm said, okay, we have to make some tough decisions,

but once we kind of ride through this path, we're going to

hire people back. And they stuck to that word. They honored that. They, after a year or so,
