One of the things you and I have been talking about for a while is that you know this

podcast is primarily focused around dating romantic relationships and love but we also discount a lot of other

important relationships in our lives. And I mean I know both of us feel so strongly

about friendship. I feel like there was a big period of my life that I actually

probably prioritized friendship over romantic relationships, consciously or unconsciously, don't even know.

But I think there's so many benefits to friendship and I

think sometimes I've been guilty of this before of like getting together with my

friends to discuss dating. And while that certainly is positive to have that support system in place, I think it goes so

much deeper than that.

And we're also focused on finding connection and the connection that's missing in our lives if we're dating and looking for a romantic partner

But we fail to recognize the connection that's right there already for us and I know personally

for me this was actually so paramount before I met my current partner because I actually put less pressure on dating because I was having that fulfillment

through my friendships and I didn't feel like so connection starved like I did baby in the past. Yeah I think
