True to his threat, the mad scientist, whose warnings have held the city in a grip of terror,

went on his rampage of destruction on the stroke of midnight.

The deadly impact of his mysterious ray smashed the famous tower bridge, hurling cars and pedestrians into the river below.

summer episode. Last week the Man of Steel stopped a gang of smugglers who used dolls to smuggle high

explosives. Today a new adventure begins as Clark Kent and Lois Lane are assigned to cover the grand opening of Happy Land Amusement Park.

The park is owned and operated by Lois's friend Nancy, but the grand opening is overshadowed by pressure on Nancy from Midway Martin, the operator of nearby Carnival Town.

When Nancy turns down his paltry offer to sell him happyland, Martin embarks on a plan of sabotage

to run happyland out of business.

Now it's up to Superman to thwart Martin and his cronies before their efforts to shut down Happyland turn fatal.

This is a great story with plenty of fantastic cliffhanger endings, a unique setting on the

grounds of an amusement park, and a daster h this summer and I think you'll enjoy it too.
