A couple of days ago, I flew home with my family. We had been on a weekend trip to Southern California

0:05.0

there for a basketball tournament. My son was playing and we weren't able to get a flight home on Sunday night.

0:10.3

So we headed back early, very early Monday morning. And the plan was for my family to drop me off directly at work and I would immediately jump into therapy with clients.

0:19.2

And as often can be the case, the flight was delayed

0:21.4

in leaving Southern California. And by the time we landed in the Sacramento International Airport,

0:27.0

I was running a little bit behind. And I let my clients know and they were wonderful and understanding.

0:31.2

And we immediately headed to my office. And I was already in my head a little bit, just kind of

0:35.6

thinking about the day ahead, client issues, ready to get myself all ready for therapy. And I was already in my head a little bit, just kind of thinking about the day ahead, client issues,

0:59.7

missed my exit. And we all shared a couple of ideas, and I calmly made a power move. I made

1:05.0

1:16.3

missed my turn. I didn't beat myself up about it or unload a profanity lace tirade or anything like

1:22.2

that. And I was pretty accepting that I had had this off-roading option and that I needed to

1:26.7

embrace it. And I would get to work

1:28.0

eventually when I got to work. So fast forward to yesterday morning. I had a podcast that I was

1:34.4

so excited to record. I've been writing some notes down for a couple of weeks, but I needed
