We're just trying to wrap up the summer season by talking about how we're headed into the forever summer, I guess.

So we have a few stories that all relate.

Jacobin wrote about Greek unions want paid time off for when it's too hot to work.

And I think that sounds like a great idea. for when it's too hot to work.

And I think that sounds like a great idea,

which is doomed to fail because there will come a time

when it will always be too hot to work.

And so like, nice idea, good try,

but we're probably gonna end up going in another direction

as long as we have capitalism to you know thank for our continued ability to

survive did this the story like strike any chords for anyone?

Oh yeah.

Yeah, like just yesterday, it was heat index of, don't know 107 or whatever I asked my daughter if she went outside for recess and she did and she went outside for both recess, even the afternoon recess, which was definitely, it was P Keith.

And my wife works in a different school district adjacent to the one we send our daughter to,

and they have a policy in place already where if it reaches X I can't remember what you said I think it was 92 degrees they stay inside

So this is going to be political because I think our school district is more conservative. The superintendent's more conservative and I think that'll apply

to the work to depends on who your boss is or if your union can't
