Hey there, my friends. Welcome back to Diggin Deeper. We are continuing on through our series

in the life of Moses that we've been preaching at the church where I am lead pastor. You're going to

hear another episode of a full-length sermon today, walking us through the book of Exodus, the various

situations that Moses

encountered as he was serving as God's leader to the people of Israel. With God's purpose

of delivering them from bondage in Egypt, there are so many spiritual lessons here, so many

I want to start this morning by asking you to imagine a situation that, who knows, any of us could find ourselves in.

Imagine that you're at home one evening.

You've already gone to bed.

You've fallen asleep.

And something wakes you up.

You look through your blurry vision to see the clock, and it's 12.20 a.m.

So it's past midnight. You've been asleep for a while and you recognize

there's a small smoke in the air. There's a fire in your home. And you scramble out of bed. You get the

kids. You get everybody awake and you get them out of the house so all the people are safe you've got just

enough time to go back in and grab one or two things that are of value to you now some of you go
