Our trip through the year has finished now, but we weren't ready to say goodbye to

1997 just yet, so we thought we'd finish off by debating the top 10 drivers of that season.

As usual with our top tens, the way we've done this is to each do our own top 10 lists,

which have then been scored using the current F1 point system and the combined scores are

used to give us our top 10.

And before we get going, Ben, anyone who has followed this series closely will know that you've managed to shoehorn Damon Hill into every single episode.

But I'm going to give away right now that David wasn't in your top 10.

So there was no attempt to make sure that we talk about him here.

I would call that a disgraceful lack of loyalty. And I've let you off the hook, really, by bringing

Damon up at this stage. So explain yourself. Oh, well, I'm sorry, Damon. And I'm sorry,
