All right, Bonus Podcast Time for Gun Talk. I'm Tom Greshing. We're at the Shod Show,

actually a day or two before the Shod Show starts. We're at the Clark County

Shooting Complex in Las Vegas, the massive SIG event here where

they're showing all these new products and all these cool things and I mean

literally everything from air guns to machine guns. So let's start with the first thing.

Let's talk about air guns. We've got Matt Handy and Stephanie Key with us from the whole air gun, airsoft, everything else you guys do.

What was it like four or five years ago? You guys said, well, let's try air guns. Yeah, guns yeah how did that get started so well we we

had the CEO Ron Cohen loves innovation he is always screaming for the next big thing and I think he knew how the

air gun realm would tie into SIG but he didn't quite know how or when we would get there.

So he developed a team.

We are four strong, and we are four years running.

And I think the way that Siggs hours took it on was we are a innovative training firearm

industry that really has room to expand on more of that training platform and what better way to do it

than to bring in the youth, the novice, the elite, and the beginners with a platform that is a little less scary maybe to certain people

so why not start with air guns?

Yeah it's a matter of at the end of the day it's a matter of, at the end of the day, it's a matter of exposure.

And getting your product, whether it's trade dress or something that we've developed that's

innovative from an air perspective into consumers hands that wouldn't typically get a gun into their hands.

When you say trade dress, what we're really talking about is, you know, if you have a 320, a firearm,

now you could have a 320 that's an air gun that is pretty close to being indistinguishable.

When you first pick it up, other than maybe weight, I think you guys have kind of got the weight thing figured out as well.
