Talking to Mary Wilson was such a delight.

I mean, she makes everybody feel good.

I bet you that's the way she, you know, did all these amazing things in this decades long

career co-founding member of the Supremes the one constant in that band over the

decades fashion icon absolutely in that band over the decades. Fashion icon?

Absolutely.

Was a businesswoman, an author, a brilliant singer who understood

the importance of harmony vocals in the group's overall sound,

you know remained perhaps unfairly a bit in the background but you know anybody who

worked with Mary Wilson never forgot her.

Mary Wilson died at the age of 76 on February 9,

and so we will revisit in this special podcast our wonderful chat with her in January of 2020. Enjoy.

We sat down with Mary who was a consistent part of the Supremes from its founding until the group's

dissolution in 1977, she's also a prolific author. Her latest book, Supreme

Glammer, highlights the group's origin story as well as those iconic costumes.
