Summary

Our next Get Fit 60-Day Challenge starts May 9 with a week-long pre-party just kicking off and Heidi and I would love to have you join! If you've been looking for a community online that invites you to not only come as you are but celebrates you for being exactly who you are and where you’re at in your journey, this is absolutely for you. This community has become my safe, reliable soft landing on the days I struggle as well as accountability cheerleaders when I get on a roll. As much as people come to get into better shape, they stay because of feeling part of something unlike anything they’ve ever experienced. Everyone has access to daily workout programs with individual tracks that you can jump in and out of: in the gym or at home, programs for men and women, at every fitness level with modifications to meet you where you are. Beyond the physical challenges, the weekly lives also feature experts in nutrition, dance, breathwork, cooking, yoga, and more, all of whom interact and answer questions in the community regularly. This celebration of what our bodies can do is equally supported by creating space for the mental and emotional components of transformation, all in a private Facebook community that loves and supports you as you are, right where you are. For me, in this window of life, this community has become the only place I interact online because of the way it pours positively into me and every other person there, every single time I’m there. Heidi and I would love to see you become part of this amazing family as well. Hi, D&I have been doing these fitness challenges together for the last handful of months and

0:16.8

another one is upon us.

0:19.7

And we stumbled into something yesterday that was just so incredible that after I was able

0:26.2

to hear it, you were able to be part of it. We said we'd be crazy to not find a way to

0:30.6

let other people listen in on what is just kind of the most amazing thing that has come

0:37.2

out of this community. And as you will hear in what you're going to listen to the power

0:43.6

of a mama not trying to tell her daughter what to do, not trying to give her instruction

0:49.0

what to do, but having her see herself do something as a vehicle for to model what she

0:56.0

herself has done. Don't do what I say do what I do. It was just a beautiful thing.

1:02.2

Yeah, I think that's the most important thing for all parents to recognize. And me as a

1:07.6

mom too, I preach it, but I have to practice it. I have to remember to practice it because

1:12.4

I do have a lot of moms coming to me saying, how can I make sure my kids don't make the

1:16.3

same mistakes I did? And for me, I think that all the time I had a really devastating

1:22.0

eating disorder, how can I make sure that I'm creating an environment that has my kids

1:27.7

embracing health as a celebration, not a punishment, right? Because that's how it was for me.

1:32.9

And in an parents wanting their kids to eat healthy, how do you do it? It's the more

1:37.9

you tell your kids what to do, the less they want to do what you say. So just by following

1:44.9

or leading by example, your kids actually naturally follow what you do and Reese and Amanda

1:49.8

were such a beautiful example of this, like a mom who showed up, set the example. Yes,

1:57.5

she did the workouts. Yes, she ate clean because she loved how it made her feel. Yes, all

2:01.4

of the things. And she showed up in the community every day, which then had her daughter.

2:06.7

But more importantly, what you'll see is a mom who chose to lead by example in loving
